ExpoStudio

Project: ExpoStudio
Company: Babylon Software Solutions
My role: UX/UI Designer

ExpoStudio is a collection of five web-based applications especially designed to meet the requirements of the Venue Owners, Exhibition Organizers, Exhibitors and Visitors in the Events industry.

Project Challenge

Redesign existing software applications and create an enterprise web application.

My role was a UX/UI Designer, working closely with both Development and Design teams and helping them collaborate and iterate faster.

Process

The main strategy for this project was to evaluate the existing applications, redesign and combine them into a enterprise web solution for our users.

In the Research phase, the main focus was on on Task Analysis and User Flows, trying to understand how they users perform their tasks and achieve their goals. Competitive Analysis was performed for specific web applications, and identified new additional features to include in our redesigned application.

After analyzing all insights gained from the Research phase, mockups and prototypes were created. To speed the process and help Developers and Designers iterate quickly, I created High-Res Mockups for segments of a specific application. After their sign off, I created High-Res prototypes along with a User Interface style guides for it. After getting feedback and evaluation from the prototypes, both teams worked on that segment, and I prepared the next set of mockups. This process helped iterate quickly and reduce development time and cost.
